JMJ “Riddim of the gods” cypher wouldn’t have been complete without the signature of Emmanuel Essel known in showbiz as Jah Lead.
So, it was no surprise that “Lonely”, a handy work of Jah Lead off JMJ “Riddim of the gods”, became the talk of Ghana following its release.
Back to the subject matter, Jah Lead in an up-close with Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) and DJ Edita on Y97.9fm’s “The Dryve of your Lyfe” show revealed that he has been in the industry for years.
“I have been around for some years now, but professionally it’s being six years.”

He also mentioned that he was under High-Grade Family – a record label owned by Samini for some years but currently on his own.
When he was quizzed about his songwriting skills he said, “I have written songs for several artistes including Kaakie but those projects were not released. I also assisted Kofi Kinaata in writing his hit song “Play”.
