Nigerian Instagram comedian Sydney Talker has allayed fears of contacting the deadly coronavirus after his test results proved negative.
Sydney thought he had contracted the disease which has killed over 40,000 people across the world when he started showing symptoms.
Last week, he uploaded a video of himself in a critical condition as he cried out to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to test him for a possible coronavirus infection.
NCDC siad they reached out to Sydney but he has responded saying he is well.
In response to the tweet, the comedian refuted the NCDC’s claim that he is well.
He wrote: “What kind of lie is this??? you didn’t reach out to me and I wasn’t doing a skit. Please all I want is to be tested because the symptoms get worse by the day.”
Days went by with no update from the comedian after that… not until moments ago that he took to his page to share his test results of the virus.
