A police officer allegedly
assaulted the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Afigya Kwabre South in the
Ashanti Region, Christian Adu Poku.
This incident happened at
Atimatim Tabuom after the DCE and the unnamed police officer engaged in a hot
verbal fight during the lockdown.
The police officer was part of the security personnel tasked to enforce the lockdown session in that part of the area.

Ghgossip.com gathered that Christian Addu Poki and some members from his office stormed the area to distribute sanitizers, nose masks, and water when the police team approached them.
A video that captures some scenes from the DCE’s argument with the police officer has hit the internet.
He could be heard and seen threatening to deal with the police officer for punching his mouth.
