NPP members in Afigya Kwabre South Constituency, led by their chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, praying fervently for President Akufo-Addo and his government

THE NEW Patriotic Party’s
(NPP) Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South Constituency, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah has
said the pace of development under President Akufo-Addo is dazing the
opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area.

According to him, his
constituency is experiencing transformation since President Nana Addo Dankwa
Akufo-Addo’s NPP took over the reins of government.

Appiah indicated that the
Afigya Kwabre South Constituency had benefitted from important projects like roads,
water and schools and it was going a long way to enhance the living standards
of the people and the NDC elements knew they could not match the president’s
effort to make Ghana a better place.

The NPP chairman, who sounded
excited, also pointed out that access to potable drinking water had also been
improved greatly “because the NPP government is on the ground working to better
the lives of the people.”

Addressing NPP members during
a thanksgiving church service at Kodie, Appiah was optimistic that the good
works of the president would give him an automatic re-election to complete his
numerous projects that he started.

He said that Ghana needs President
Akufo-Addo in office for additional four years to properly steer the affairs of
the state to what he called ‘the promised land’ within the shortest possible
time.

Appiah said the NPP was
avoiding complacency and worked hard and also relied solely on God to help them
to retain political power in December, saying “we won the elections with God in
2016 and we will win again with Christ in our boat.”

According to him, the NPP
members in his constituency and Ghanaians in general, are impressed about President
Akufo-Addo’s effort and the NPP is determined to do vigorous campaign to retain
office.

The NPP Member of Parliament
(MP) for Afigya Kwabre South Constituency, Owuraku Aidoo, the District Chief
Executive (DCE) for the area, Christian Adu Poku and other top dignitaries were
present at the function.
