Sister Afia has opened up on why she ditched her bestie Shatta Wale in a fresh interview on Hitz FM.
The songstress and the controversial Dancehall artist were the best of friends (it was even rumored they had intimate relationship) until they walked in different directions all of a sudden.
Efia insisted although Wale gave her the pedestal in the music industry, she has to abandon him so she’s not regarded as one of his Militants.
“Shatta Wale gave me a lot of platforms; and I was all over him. He supported me but I wanted to be on my own. So I had to distance myself from him so people don’t see me as one of his militants”.
