Celebrated and award-winning Kumawood actor Alexander Kofi Adu popularly known as Agya Koo has cried out at the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for neglecting him after helping them come to power.
It would be remembered that prior to the 2016 elections, some popular celebrities threw their support behind then-candidate Nana Akuffo Addo which eventually saw him win power in the elections in 2016.
Agya Koo who by then acted as the leader of ‘Agenda 57% for Akufo-Addo’ during the launch of their campaign explained that the hardship by John Mahama and the NDC was too much and it was time for Ghanaians to kick them out.

According to him, he knows he cannot sit an office to do any office work, but something can be done. He expressed regret that some people spread rumors about non-existent benefits they claim he got from the NPP government.
“Now it has gotten to the work, some of us we know cannot sit in the office. But where we have gotten to a point when some people should say ‘ooh this particular person, we have to reach out to him”.
