ACCESS BANK Ghana
has launched a savings promotion dubbed,‘Save
More, Win More’; with the aim of helping its customers adopt healthy saving
habits.
The promo, which
forms part of activities to mark the bank’s 10th anniversary
celebration, also seeks to reaffirm the bank’s commitment of delivering ‘just
more than banking’, while rewarding its existing as well as new customers
across the nation.
Delivering an
address on behalf of the Managing Director (MD) of Access Bank Ghana, Olumide
Olatunji – divisional head of Retail Banking, Access Bank, Stephen Abban said
the promo was the bank’s way of saying ‘thank you’ to its customers for their
loyalty over the past decade since the bank began operations in Ghana.
“Over the past
years, we have continuously developed lifestyle-based products and services
that provide flexible options for all Ghanaians to save and invest no matter
how small their income may be – because we believe that everyone has a dream
that must be fulfilled.
“A dream to own
the future they want to see; and this, they can achieve if the right support
systems and incentives are in place,” he stressed.
The promotion, he
added, would further deepen the bank’s financial inclusion drive by bringing
the “unbanked and the undeserved” segments of the market into mainstream
banking.
The ‘Save More, Win More’ promo will reward
300 customers across all the 51 branches of the bank, nationwide.
Customers are only
required to deposit an amount of GH¢100 or more into their current or savings
accounts every month. New customers will also simply need to open an account
and deposit same amount or more to be part of the winners of the promo.
Aside from the
ultimate cash prizes that would be won at the end of the promo, winners who would
be rewarded at the end of every month will walk away with several prizes such
as smart LED TVs, scholarships, weekend getaways (for two persons in a decent
hotel), DSTV box and dish with three months subscription fully paid, fuel coupons,
meal tickets, airtime, T-shirts and many more.
There are no draws in this promo and it will run from August 13 to the end of the year.
