Speaking to Sunday World, spokeswoman for the National Prosecuting Authority South Gauteng, Phindi Mjonondwane, confirmed that a warrant for Cici’s arrest was issued.
This is reportedly because she failed to show up at the Midrand Magistrate’s Court on Friday as a defendant in the assault case opened by her ex-boyfriend, Arthur Mafokate.
“We can confirm she didn’t appear in court and a warrant was issued for her arrest,” said Mjonondwane.
This all began over a year ago when the pair made headlines for a physical fight they had which left Cici injured and unable to walk on her own for a while. Mafokate then claimed Cici assaulted him while they were wrestling for his phone.
The pair have been involved in countersuits which have yet to be resolved.
