Medeama Chief Executive Officer James Essilfie says bank roller Moses Armah would not mind giving away the club for free owing to frustrations from the delay of the start of the Ghana Premier League.
Scheduled to take off on Friday, the domestic league has been suspended indefinitely due to a court order.
It is the second successive time the league has been thrown off schedule as the start was initially slated for February 10.
“Moses Parker is ready to give his dearest club away to anyone who wants it because he is disappointed in the system,” Essilfie told Asempa FM.
“My boss Moses Parker has now lost interest in Ghana football and is ready to dash the club to anyone who wants it.
“It’s unfortunate because as I speak to you now, I don’t even know when we will be playing our first game.
“The injunction on the league is really taking a toll on the club owners.”
Medeama are set to play newly-promoted Karela FC on matchday one.
“It is really a worry to us because our coach knew the league was coming off so he gave us training that was to make us ready for our first game this weekend,” midfielder Eric Kwakwa to Silver FM.
“The postponement of the league start is very disturbing.
“A player might be at his peak at the moment and by the time the league kicks off, there will be a dip in form.”
Medeama finished ninth in the league last season.
