Medikal’s rap style over the years has been critised as one that has no meaningful content
In 2016, Medikal was the icon for Arab Money Gang (AMG) Business with his hardcore rapping style. He won the hearts of many especially the youth in second and tertiary education because he was able to blend rap with swag.
But along the line, Medikal has lost focus as most of his raps have been labeled as wack by music consumers in Ghana. Recently, his raps came under scrutiny when he released another set of shoddy rap verse on Tema based Kwesi Arthur’s remix of ‘Grind Day’ song featuring Sarkodie.
In the process, Showboy, AMG associate, advised Medikal to work on his rapping prowess which he was blasted by Sister Derby, Medikal’s sugar mumy. From the horse own mouth, Medikal in a tweet has admit he actually do ‘nonfa’ or wack raps and he’s not going to stop because it gives him more gig.
As I start de rap some people say I Shaa,as I blow still dem say I shaa, but this shaa de make I make enough everyday, God if all these Blessings de come from Shaa, please,I want you to keep blessing me with more Shaa.Infact, elevate me to the Highest level of Shaa!#Boooom????
