A former Central Regional Minister under the Mahama administration, Aquinas Tawiah Quansah, says the Akufo-Addo-led government has failed Ghanaians.

He has accused the president and his vice of failing to fix the dwindling currency and prevent it from affecting various sectors of the economy after the vice president, Dr Bawumia has said Ghana’s economy was in “good hands”.

He said the Akufo-Addo administration only lied their way to power thus, their dreams have failed to become real.

“Talk is cheap. There is a vast difference between realities and dreams. The NPP, during their campaign, was dreaming so they sold their dreams and said big things amidst big promises but now their dreams are in limbo. They can no longer run away from the shadow,” he said on Adom TV’s morning show Badwam Tuesday.

Mr Tawiah Quansah said Ghana’s economy was nothing to write home about, adding that it has caused a lot of frustrations.

He also slammed the government for failing to stabilise the cedi against the dollar as they promised.

He is of the view that Ghanaians are suffering and feel disappointed that the NPP administration deceived them.
