34-year-old Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor was born to Yoruba parents in the capital city of Togo, Lomé. His passion for football was discovered at an early age when he attended Centre de Développement Sportif de Lomé (English: Sports Development Centre of Lomé), also known as Sporting Club de Lomé.
Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor was discovered by scouts from Metz who brought him to France in 1999. He has been a successful player since then.
