The team visited Japan after they won the 2018 Yamaha E-Band competition
The Yamaha E-Band competition 2018, held between 15th of May to 15th of August 2018, recorded entries of over 100 amateur bands from around the world.
This year’s competition was won by a Ghanaian band, Nativ Afrik; a group of talented musicians from Takoradi, Ghana.
As part of their prize for winning Overall Best Band, Nativ Afrik arrived in Tokyo – Japan, to begin their visit to Yamaha Corporation, Japan.
The band will visit Yamaha Factories in Japan, Yamaha Headquarters, Japan Music Fair and will have the opportunity to experience Japan; the home of one of the world’s leading producers of musical instruments, Yamaha Music.
The tour will be crowned with a Grand Winner’s concert on Thursday 25th of October at the Holiday Inn, Accra-Ghana, when the band returns home.
Also performing on the night are Katsunori Ujiie(Japan), renowned musician Isaac Aryee (UK) and a host of other musicians.
