The Progressive People’s People (NPP), has said, Ghanaians are gradually learning from the deception and incompetence of the major two political parties- the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The party’s National Communications Officer, Paa Kow Ackon, told Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that, these two political parties can be likened to a crocodile with two heads. These two parties he posited have plotted and always execute an agenda to deprive Ghanaians of better leadership, worsen their hardship and poor living condition.

‘’These two parties are not parties that have the nation at heart. They are incompetent, come in to mismanage our resources and steal from our scarce resources. They come in to rob the state. They only do less and spend on themselves. Ghanaians have accepted mediocrity and so we do not hold our leaders accountable.’’

The PPP’s national officer slammed the NDC for campaigning to return and change the nation in 2020 after they created damages in the country when they were in power. ‘’What is going on in Ghana is bad. It is unfortunate and unacceptable.

God has blessed the country with rich natural resources and yet our leaders are unable to deliver the leadership to provide Ghanaians with the competent leadership to transform the country.’’

He was reacting to the 22-man delegation that accompanied Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at the UN Geneva Conference. In his view, the public purse is being depleted, wasted and misappropriated. He slammed the government for using state resources to sponsor party foot soldiers on expensive trips at the expense of the taxpayer.

‘’What is the sense in this? It will get to a time we will stop paying taxes because our leaders keep misappropriating our resources. We pay taxes to get our roads fixed but we are rather witnessing our leaders misappropriating our resources.

This is unacceptable.’’ Ghana he lamented is facing serious financial crisis with banks collapsing, people losing their jobs yet we have leaders living luxurious lifestyles.
