Accra, Sept. 26, GNA – Former President John
Dramani Mahama is kick starting his campaign on Wednesday, September 26, in the
Central Region to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020
presidential election.

An official statement issued, signed by signed
by Former Deputy Information Minister, James Agyenim-Boateng, said the four-day
campaign tour would take Mr Mahama to Awutu Senya

Accra, Sept. 26, GNA – Former President John
Dramani Mahama is kick starting his campaign on Wednesday, September 26, in the
Central Region to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020
presidential election.

An official statement issued, signed by signed
by Former Deputy Information Minister, James Agyenim-Boateng, said the four-day
campaign tour would take Mr Mahama to Awutu Senya East and West, Gomoa East,
Agona East and West, Gomoa Central and Effutu constituencies.

He would visit other constituencies during his
campaign tour of the Region.

The statement said Mr Mahama was scheduled to
meet with Regional and constituency executives, as well as delegates of the
NDC.

“He would share his vision with delegates and
seek their mandate to lead the NDC to victory in the 2020 election,” it said.

The former President is due to return to Accra
on Saturday, September 29.

The NDC would hold its presidential primary on
December 7, 2018.
