Computer Warehouse Group receives ISO 9001:2015

Accra, Aug. 14, GNA – Management of Computer
Warehouse Group (CWG) Ghana Limited, a member of Pan African ICT Company, CWG
Plc, has received the ISO 9001:2015, a Quality Management System Standard.

The authorisation re-certifies CWG Ghana as a
Company that consistently provides world-class business enabling solutions.

The issuance of the approval certificate
follows a rigorous assessment carried out by the Ghana Standards Authority
(GSA) following an application by CWG Ghana to have its Quality Management
Systems (QMS) audited and certified in compliance with international standards
and best practices.

A statement issued by the Company and copied
to the GNA said the fundamental systems provided through the ISO 9001:2015
certification include assurance on customer focus, leadership, engagement of
people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and
relationship management.

It said by the Approval Committee of the GSA,
indicated, “The QMS applies to the provision of Information and Communications
Technology solutions to business entities in Ghana.”

It said this entails the provision of information
and communication technology products and services solutions in the areas of
infrastructure, software, communications and training that will ensure a high
degree of customer satisfaction.

Mr Oluwaseun Layade, Head, Project Management
and Corporate Development, CWG Ghana, speaking on the importance of the
certification, said that receiving the ISO 9001:2015 certification was in line
with their quality policy.

He said: “CWG Ghana shall deliver ICT
Solutions that will add value to our customer’s operation, meet and exceed our
customer’s expectation and we shall deliver them right first time and all the
time”.

“No doubt, CWG has successfully accomplished
her Quality Policy in Ghana by incorporating measurable objectives using an
improvement focused process that is driven by innovative people and processes
which will in-turn enable businesses,” he added.

Mrs Harriet Attram Yartey, Managing Director,
CWG Ghana Limited, said, “The process goes a long to show the level of
commitment and extent to which our organization is willing to go, to assure our
customers and other stakeholders that our systems and processes are all
structured to ensure they consistently receive the best service from us.

”This recertification is an attestation to our
continuous commitment to the provision of quality services per international
standards through improving efficiency. Likewise, it helps us create a better
working environment that also boosts our staff morale,” She added.

She said the nurturing of performance and
result-oriented culture, which was based on quality, is crucial in bringing
about in-depth change in our operations to continually improve the delivery of
services to all stakeholders.

The 9001:2015 certification reviewed CWG’s
Customer focus, Leadership, Involvement of people, Process approach, System
approach, Continual improvement, Fact-based decision making, and Mutually
beneficial vendor relationships replaces the older and phased out 9001:2008
certification.

She said by achieving this ISO
Recertification, therefore, meant that CWG Ghana has gained a label of
recognition which was operating according to international ISO QMS 2012 under
ISO 9001:2008 and was recertified under the same standard in 2015.
