People are reaching out in order to help a boy who is trying to make some money by cutting grass after police were called over his work.

12-year-old Reggie Fields of Cleveland, Ohio, began a new business named Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service.

With the help of his younger siblings and cousins, he goes around cutting grass and cleaning people’s yards.

One day, while cutting the lawn for Lucille Holt, Reggie accidentally cut the part of the grass that was on the neighbor’s property line.

Although there was no dividing line or any other indication that this was not part of the customer’s grass, the neighbor called the police to complain that kids were cutting her grass without permission.

She wanted police to stop them and get them off her property.

Holt said that she was confused when police arrived at her home and she was shocked to learn that her neighbor called them to report the kids accidentally cutting a small portion of her grass.

Holt posted a video of the incident to social media, where it went viral.

Reggie said that at first, he was discouraged and was not sure he will continue his business, but after the video went viral, he received many calls of support and new customers so he is back in business and he is happy to serve his clientele.

In addition, his community began a GoFundMe campaign to help Reggie get better equipment so he can be efficient and to expand his business.

The goal was to raise $1,000. So far, they have already raised a whopping $44,900.
