A woman in Florida who was ordered to report for jury duty selection is now on the wrong side of the law after arriving with drugs.

The woman from Pasco County was arrested after trying to enter the West Pasco Judicial Center for jury service with drugs in her pocket.

40-year-old Kristine Victoria Mittler arrived to the center at about 1:10 p.m. on Monday.

When she passed security, the security alarm went off. Officers searched Mittler and found two small foil packets in her pants pocket.

The drugs were confiscated and tested. A field test found .6 grams of cocaine as well as a straw that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Mittler admitted to police that the drugs belonged to her. However, she claimed that she forgot they were in her pocket.

Mittler was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
