The group is striking over unpaid salaries from 2013
The National Association of Graduate Teachers, NAGRAT, has declared an indefinite strike from Today, Wednesday 4, 2018.
The President of the Association, Eric Angel Carbonu, told Radio Ghana’s Felix Cofie that NAGRAT’s action has to do with government’s failure to pay salary arrears of members from 2013.
He said NAGRAT has been engaging government over the issue but nothing positive has come out, hence the decision to declare an indefinite strike.
Mr. Carbonu said if government pays the arrears, members will return to the classroom.
