Ghanaian songstress Efya is delighted over Shatta Wale’s nomination into this year’s VGMA’s
Efya explained that Shatta Wale deserves to be nominated by the Awards scheme because he is a talented musician. She continued to say that she is a very big fan of Shatta Wale; seeing Shatta Wale makes her very happy.
‘Shatta Wale is a great guy and I literally get happy anytime he steps on stage. He has a very bright light around him and he deserves it.’’ Efya stated in an interview with Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa’s SVTV chat.
She added that the fact that Shatta Wale has bounced back in the VGMA’S keeps people talking which makes it exciting.
Born Jane Fara Fauzzier Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor Efya is a Ghanaian neo soul vocalist, songwriter, performer and actress.She was nominated for this year’s VGMA Awards in the Reggae/Dancehall song of the year category.
