Nana Poku Ashis, manager of highlife artiste, Kumi Guitar says Kumi Guitar has no brawl with Stonebwoy.
According to him, the song circulating on social media wasn’t directed at Stonebwoy hence he couldn’t fathom why some people will deem it so.
Kumi Guitar has released a song addressing the recent Zylofon-Stonebwoy fracas which happened over the weekend.
He took aim at Stonebwoy for releasing a song against their record label, Zylofon media, accusing him of being ungrateful after all the label had done for him.
But in an exclusive interview with Adomonline’s Dennis Adu, Nana Poku said Kumi’s song wasn’t solely for Stonebwoy but all artistes present in the Zylofon Empire.
“The song is not a ‘diss’ song to Stonebwoy; he was talking to all the Zylofon artistes. It’s a statement song. Good or bad he has made the statement”, Nana said.
Asked why Kumi used some jargons in the song to portray Stonebwoy was the victim of the jab, Ashis insisted “Kumi didn’t relate the song to Stonebwoy. The ‘Arrboy’ is from Movado, when I googled. It could be anybody; it is about how you interpret it” he told Adomonline’s Dennis Adu.
