In Ghana, many homes used to have this but these days, many consider it as a luxury rather than a necessity. Hotels are places where many go to for various reasons at Christmas. Whether to lodge, just swim or eat, hotels often get busy at Christmas.
These hotels have also turned to heavily investing in decorations to look sleek, classy and appealing to their guests.

Tang palace – As the name suggests, this hotel sounds Chinese and of course it has Chinese history and culture in almost every aspect of the hotel.

When it comes to Christmas trees, Tang Palace hotel is renowned to always come up with innovative yet record breaking trees. A few years ago, they had the tallest Christmas tree in Ghana.
This year, it looks like they have the most elaborate tree. With lights and gifts estimated to be in millions and Christmas characters all around the tree, you will struggle not to get into the Christmas mood after visiting this hotel.
Golden Tulip – One of the oldest luxury hotels in Ghana, Golden Tulip always has a way of creating a christmas atmosphere around this period. Just enter the lobby and you will be dazzled by that tall green tree with colourful lights and huge gifts all around.
Christmas carols playing in the background and a host of Christmas activities lined up make you want to stay there till January.
Holiday inn – Not the biggest or the most fancy but this got a spot in our list of best Christmas trees by virtue of it’s placement. Strategically placed in the corner of the lobby, it’s elegance just attracts you no matter what.
It doesn’t stand up in your face but i can bet you will take a picture or two of it when you see it. It’s position also doesn’t make it interfere with normal traffic flow where people walk across your perfect picture. The Christmas fever just engulfs you when you finally spot this tree.
African regent – A hotel that perfectly blends local culture with international standards, you expect a masterclass from African regent Hotel. That’s exactly what’s on offer here. The christmas tree here looks so natural you will think it was cut from the lawn outside.
