‘Embattled’ NASPA president bribes Executive Committee for reinstatement

Following the suspension of Philip Quaye from his position as President of the National Service Personnel Association on the basis of financial malfeasance and disrespectful behaviour towards the National Executive Council,recent reports has it that he has handed twenty Thousand (20,000) cedis to the National Executives Committee to convince them to rescind their decision about his suspension.

Information however reveals that Mr Philip Quaye benefited an amount of GHC100,000 from GLICO Insurance which pressured him to force the insurance policy ‘under the throat’ of service recruits.

The said move was accompanied with a formation of a council to investigate him on the allegations brought against him by a member of the committee which called for his immediate suspension.
