Uber rival Taxify to launch in Accra

Online transport technology company, Taxify, is set to begin operations in Accra, Ghana on December 22nd, 2017.

The Taxify app will allow customers to use their smartphones to request trips from the nearest Taxify driver, who will use GPS to locate the customer, then take the customer to his/her destination.

Owners are promising competitive rates and reliability since “Taxify is set to be your go-to online transportation app upon its launch.”

“Taxify believes that happy drivers means better quality service for riders and that in treating its drivers with respect, allowing them to earn more than with other platforms and providing a range of safeguards and features that help them work in the way that suits them best, they will be in turn provide superior ride experiences to riders.

Taxify already operates in 19 countries worldwide, including neighbouring countries like Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa and has seen huge success with its fairer, more transparent ride-hailing service.
