Owner of Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks, Dr Papa Kwesi Ndoum, has set his sights on a top four finish ahead of next season’s league campaign.

The Elmina based side gave a decent account of themselves last season, finishing in 9th place in what was also their debut season.

Speaking at the unveiling of the club’s new technical team, Dr Ndoum made his ambitions known and expressed confidence in the technical team to carry out his wishes.

“Next season should be the year for the fearsome Sharks. Whether you are Inter Allies, Medeama or Asante Kotoko just come to Elmina to take your defeat injection,” Dr Nduom said.

“We will make the league hell for teams especially when playing at home. If I say hell it doesn’t mean we are going to bully visiting clubs, no, we are going to inflict defeat upon any team that visits the Stadium.”

“We should be able to finish the season in the first four positions, or if everything goes well should win the championship, and I think we have the requisite personnel to pull it off.”

Head Coach, Yaw Acheampong, will lead the team next season and will be assisted by former Zamalek forward Felix Aboagye.

Ex-Ghana striker Kim Grant has been brought in as Technical Director with former Sharks Coach Kobina Amissah handed management of the Youth side.
