The baby was believed to have been dumped by the roadside by an unknown woman
A “Good Samaritan’’ has saved a new-born baby dumped by the roadside with his umbilical cord still attached.
The infant, believed to have been discarded at the shouldere the roadside by an unknown woman at Mankessim in the Central region on Friday was rescued by a resident who immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, residents suspect the baby’s mom brought forth at the roadside, as the video posted on Facebook saw a pool of blood at the same spot where the baby was found.
It, however, appears the identity of the baby’s mother has remained unidentified.
A follow-up reveals the baby is currently in good condition and will likely to be given out for adoption soon.
