For the past few days, film maker, Leila Djansi has been at the center of controversy after she openly criticised government for frustrating the Electoral Commission boss, Charllote Osei because she is a woman.
She has been cyber brutalized by some party faithful and others who do not buy her opinion and her stance because of her bias stance in the ongoing issue.
But in responding to such critics and cyber bullies, the movie producer had this to say:
Sit in Ghana, with all its economic issues and spend valuable time on Facebook, traveling to peoples walls, trolling and insulting them in the name of politics. Share their posts and engage in arm chair debates from your hot single room apartment, if you’re lucky, chamber and hall self contained. Wake up, battle a trotro or taxi and go work in someone’s office.
Of course, you can’t establish one of your own. You’re on Facebook, trolling.
God punish that person that robbed you of your good sense.
Whiles other use social media to earn daily living, become billionaires and donate their spare change to Africa, you bundle 10ghana internet on your China phone and play party foot soldier, abuse your fellow citizens, taxpayers, for a politician amassing your taxes into his personal pocket and securing a future for his children at Havard and Oxford.
You know Charlotte Osei cos she made a mark. Good or bad.
You come to my wall to insult me because I made a mark. Good or bad.
Everyone whose wall you travel to, ask yourself whether they know you exist or whether they even care, then swallow your pride and walk away!
A man’s whose house is on fire does not go chasing grass cutter!
Proudly, I campaigned for the NPP. That I did that does not mean I will not acknowledge anything good NDC did. Charlotte was one. Do you know what it means for a young female JSS student to see Charlotte as the most important woman in the country? By virtue of education and not make up and big breasts?
Negate all that simply because she was appointed by the opposition. Conspire with her camp to remove her because she is easy target. A woman. Use another woman against her. You know it’s what we do best. Poison each other other in service of the man. I see how well you have brought into question ALL the public office heads who ARE misappropriating funds, your Pastor for buying cars and building houses with your tithe and offerings meant for the needy, your own self for taking bribes and cutting corners.
Trivialize the democracy of Ghana by calling her a fraud, corrupt, undermining the processes etc.
Remember, if Charlotte really did all these, that calls into question everything else she did, one being declaring NPP victorious in the elections.
So, when you impeach her, also question and nullify the elections. She is afterall, a fraud and lied about everything. When a lab or judge or court is found to be corrupt, all the cases they sent to prison are freed, judgements overturned.
Nullify everything Charlotte Osei did in her time as electoral commission chief.
Ghana, you are do doing so well. God, I thank you for dual citizenship, green cards, stays, work permits etc. Thank you!
