Remains of the Broadcaster lay in state for public viewing.
The mortal remains of the late popular Broadcast Journalist, Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong aka KABA, of Asempa FM will be laid to rest today, Saturday 16th December at the Osu Cemetery in Accra.
The funeral ceremony of the late award-winning presenter, which will be held at the Forecourt of the State House is expected to see many dignitaries including President Akufo Addo, ex-Presidents Rawlings, Kufuor, Mahama and a host of politicians paying their last respect to KABA.
Ghanaians from all walks of life are also expected to make their way to the funeral venue to mourn KABA who became a household name.
The popular journalist passed on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra following a short illness.
KABA was host of Asempa FM’s popular afternoon political show, ‘Eko Sii Sen’.
He used to host Adom TV’s morning show – Badwam – before taking on the Ekosii Sen mantle from Kwabena Bobie Ansah.
KABA has had stint with Top Radio in Accra before joining the Multimedia family. He left behind a wife and a daughter.
