The two most successful clubs in the country, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have been drawn apart in the upcoming GHALCA G8 tournament scheduled to kick off from January 6-12, 2018.

Group A will see league champions Aduana Stars play against MTN FA Cup holders Asante Kotoko as well as the newly promoted duo of Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders.
Meanwhile, Group B consists of Hearts of Oak, Ebusua Dwarfs, Karela FC and WAFA SC as they battle it out for the maiden trophy of the new football season.
Group A FIXTURES:
6th January – Aduana Stars vs Dreams FC
7th January – Asante Kotoko vs Eleven Wonders
10th January – Asante Kotoko vs Dreams FC
11th January – Aduana Stars vs Eleven Wonders
Group B FIXTURES:
6th January – Hearts of Oak vs Karela FC
7th January – Ebusua Dwarfs vs WAFA
10th January – Hearts of Oak vs WAFA
11th January – Ebusua Dwarfs vs Karela FC
13th January – Ebusua Dwarfs vs Hearts of Oak
14th January – Karela FC vs WAFA
The games will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium and the Baba Yara Sports Sports.
