Budding Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo has lashed out at Ghanaians who criticize her seductive photos on her social media platforms yet eulogize American singer, Beyonce.
She said, a section of the public dislike the semi-nude pictures she often posts on her social media platforms but heap praises and re-post the American singer’s photos showing more flesh.
For the ‘Royal Diadem’ actress who seems unfazed about the public criticisms, there is absolutely nothing wrong with her erotic photos she posts on social media.
Talking about what Social Media has added to her career the young actress disclosed that for now she is not gotten to where she desires to be but wants to get paid for her seductive photos buzzing on her social media platforms.
She added that her erotic pictures on social media isn’t for sexual purposes but wants to look good.
“Well social media is not like I’m getting paid but just following and just a nice feeling. I want to make money from social media. I left Ghana when I was 5. My whole attitude, my whole persona, I’m a New Yorker and my ways of thinking isn’t like Ghanaians and my way of dressing… I’m a free spirit so how I dress isn’t for sexual purposes, I like to look good. People outside like me, but Ghanaians will say I’m looking for attention but I’m not, this is how I am. It’s disgusting, when Beyonce does a photoshoot like mine, my people will praise her highly and re-post her pictures. When I do something like what Beyonce will do, I’ll will be tagged ‘Ashawo’, she’s looking for attention, the hypocrisy is too much. So my social media is not me looking for attention and it hasn’t done anything for me.
“Producers will message me from Nigeria that they want to work with me and we exchange numbers but it turns out to be proposal that I love you, I like you but I tell them don’t like me, don’t love me, I’m a professional if you want to work with me please discuss business and if it’s anything else please delete my number…” She told Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM.
Efia Odo clearly stated that she has never regretted for her comments and tempting pictures on social media.
“I’ve not regretted for anything I post on Social Media because that is how I am in real life.”
The Ghanaian US based actress was reported to have said she will never wear a bra.
