A Seven-Member Panel of the Supreme Court presided over by Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo has dismissed the application filed by two MPs against the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba.

While dismissing the application the Panel said Lawyer Godwin Tamakloe who represented the two MPs had not renewed his license when the case was filed on February 9.

The MPs for Ashaiman, Ernest Norgbey and Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh filed a writ at the Apex Court challenging Madam Otiko Djaba’s legality as a Minister because she had not done her National Service.

However Lawyer Godwin Tamakloe told the media after the ruling, that he obtained his license eleven days after he had applied for renewal.

He added that he will re-file the application.
