Keche Worst PayKeche – Andrew Kofi Cudjoe and Joshua Kojo Ampah

Joshua Kojo Ampah of hiplife duo Keche has expressed his disappointment in fellow duo R2Bees.

In an interview with Dr Pounds on Hitz Gallery on Hitz FM, the rapper criticized the group for the failure to capitalize on the opportunities given to them by Starboy Entertainment, owned by Nigerian afrobeat act WizKid.

Nigerian singer and all-round superstar, Wizkid announced the signing of three Ghanaian acts, R2Bees, Efya and Mr. Eazi onto his label, Starboy Entertainment at the 2016 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.

According to Joshua, the group made up of Mugeez and Paedae, should be able to attain a higher level than they currently are in their career.

He compared the group to Nigerian artiste Mr. Eazi who seems to have been able to grab more opportunity after his deal with Starboy Entertainment.

“I feel disappointed when it comes to R2Bees. I respect them a lot. We were here when Wizkid announced that he has signed Mr. Eazi, Efya and Rzbees. Mr. Eazi used every opportunity. I have seen Wizkid and Mr. Eazi on bigger platforms but R2Bees are nowhere to be found,” he noted.

The ‘Aluguntugui’ rapper, however, had a word of advice for the group. He urged them to represent the country internationally.

“You are repping Ghana, rep hard and come strong,” he said.

Keche is an award-winning Ghanaian hiplife duo, made up of Andrew Kofi Cudjoe and Joshua Kojo Ampah. The duo have a number of hit songs including, ‘Diabetes’, ‘Sokode’ and ‘Slow Motion’, to their credit.
