Dancehall artiste, Kaakie who seems to be on sabbatical leave from music has said she has been through a lot this year but it didn’t break her but rather has built her confidence and made her a better woman.
In August this year, Kaakie part ways with her long time record label, Extra Large Music for reasons best known to both parties.
Terminating her contract with the record label meant that the actress has no authority over her songs, social media handles and whatever thing she was provided by the record label.
Kaakie has since the break away from extra large music been irrelevant in the music industry.
But in a post on Facebook, the ‘DC turn up’ hitmaker indicated that “I have been through a lot this year. But whether good or bad. Am glad of the woman I turn out to be-Virtuous, Strong, peaceful and Confident! Forgiveness can be the most difficult thing but in the end it Builds you a mansion. Bitterness will break every foundation n erode the ground on which u stand till u consume yourself. In this Month of December, make an effort to Forgive. You are Bigger than that Pain!”.
