Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars Albert Yahaya Commey says the club is ready to replace it’s influential captain Godfred Saka when he leaves.
Saka who has won two league titles with the Dormaa-based side joined the club in July 2012 and played his debut in the 2012–2013 Ghana Premier League season.
According to reports, the former Right to Dream star was in Nigeria last week to conclude a deal with former African champions, Eyimba of Nigeria.
This, Mr. Commey believes will be a big blow to the premier league champions given his exploits.
“We offered to extend Godfred Saka’s contract when it ended. As it stands now he has not told us anything about moving abroad but we hear he is in Nigeria”, he told Graphic Sports.
“He has been with the club for a very long time and is an influential member of the team but we are ready to replace him if he leaves”, he added.
