Princess Duncan, 24-year old Ghanaian model is the new Miss Commonwealth International 2017 after she beat stiff competition from other beautiful ladies at the Hilton Hotel in the United Kingdom (UK) last Sunday, November 26, 2017, during the 17th edition of Miss Commonwealth International pageant.

Shelly Kutcher and Lemiah Campbell placed the First runner-up and second runner-up respectively in the keen contest.

The alumnus of Crystal Galaxy College is the First woman from Ghana to have earned the crown. Princess before the grand finale was highly optimistic and well prepared to put Ghana on a higher pedestal on the International dais. It’ll interest you to know that, Princess Duncan’s utmost vision is to help the underprivileged in the society.

“The power of one person to fix social problems and support those in need should never be underestimated, that is why I choose to embark on charity projects as Miss Commonwealth. I believe in giving because the Bible says there are more blessings in giving than receiving I will do everything possible within my capacity to help the needy in the society” Princess told the press after winning.

Miss Commonwealth pageant is an international pageant through which Commonwealth goals are achieved through beauty. Princess Duncan represented Ghana at the Miss Global Beauty Pageant in South Korea which she was awarded Miss Peace Ambassador last year.

The newly crowned Miss Commonwealth International 2017 studied Airline Management (Cabin Crew) at Crystal Galaxy College.
