English Championship match-day analyst Keith Andrews says Ghana international Albert Adomah is in superb form because of the role he is playing.
The Ghanaian has netted four goals in his last five games for Villa and Keith who also featured for Blackburn Rovers believes it is because he does not operate as a natural wide man.
“He gives them a nice balance,” Andrews said on Sky Sports.
”When the ball is on the right-hand side, he is coming in to make that second striker alongside Davis.
”He’s getting into the areas of the pitch where you’re going to score goals.
”Too often wingers stay wide, chalk on their boots, they need to get into the danger areas.
”He’s at that age now, 29, where he’s got that little bit of composure, a little bit of luck at times, but he’s got the composure, left foot, right foot, to slot past the keeper.”
Adomah has scored a total of eleven goals and provided two assists in eighteen league games this season.
