Brother Sammy
Local gospel sensation, Brother Sammy has finally commented on the incident involving gospel songstress, Cecilia Marfo at a church program held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based radio station Abusua FM, spokesperson and producer of the Kumasi-based musician, Kofi revealed that the matter had been blown out of proportion by the media.
He insinuated that it was not the intention of Cecilia Marfo to cause any harm whatsoever to his artiste during her program.
The spokesman of the gospel musician indicated that what happened at the grounds of Cecilia Marfo’s program was not a slap as reported in media circles but rather a prophesy session involving his artiste on the plan of God concerning his future.
Kofi also quashed rumors that Cecilia Marfo ‘tore off’ Bro. Sammy’s necklace. He described that incident as normal and something that could happen to anyone since it was not intentional.
Not too long ago, a video went viral on social media which captured Cecilia Marfo giving Brother Sammy what looked like a slap across the face as she ministered unto him the mind of God concerning his life. The video also captured the female gospel musician who doubles as a Woman of God ‘ripping off’ a necklace worn by Bro. Sammy.
In the video, Cecilia Marfo was overheard telling Bro. Sammy that he had been called by God to do the work of the ministry. She went on to admonish the local gospel singer to lead a life characterized by prayer and dedication to God’s work.
Her prophecy to her follow musician was to be manifest in 2018 since that was the plan og the Lord over the life of the local gospel musician.
