Veteran highlife musician Nana Acheampong has denied begrudging his former group member, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
Prior to their solo careers, Daddy Lumba and Nana Acheampong were together as ‘Lumba Brothers’.
Though many suggest that the split was not done in a friendly manner, Nana Acheampong, who is set to release a track titled ‘My baby’ tells Joy News’ MzGee, “I have never had a problem with my brother Daddy Lumba, we are still friends.”
According to him, he is still at a loss why people set their own questions and answer them regarding their break up.
He challenged those who care to ask Daddy Lumba whether their break up was as acrimonious as people are making it look.
“We sat down and we talked about it, Charle let’s go solo, we will meet again,” the Na Anka Ebeye Den hitmaker said hinting they are recording an album in 2018.
Asked how he intends to make an impact in an already crowded music industry after a hiatus, Nana Acheampong said there was a need for ace musicians like him to feature young talents in order to penetrate the market.
