Europa League: Samuel Mensah features as Ostersunds FK seals progress to round 32

Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Mensah made a cameo in Ostersunds FK’s 2-0 win over FC Zorya on Thursday night to reach the Europa League round of 32.

Mensah replaced Nigerian Alhaji Gero as the Swedish club continued their fairytale run in the competition.

Östersunds FK top Group J with ten points from five matches and became one of the sides to qualify for the knockout round with one match to finish the round-robin.

The unfancied side have joined the likes of AC Milan, Nice, Plze?, Real Sociedad, Salzburg and Villarreal in confirming their place in the round of 32 draw on 11 December.
