Accra Hearts of Oak striker Kwame Kizito has been left frustrated by the club after they refused to respond to a $25,000 training compensation fee from Swedish side BK Hacken for the player’s transfer.

The 21-year old is a free agent after running down his contract at the end of the 2016/2017 season. But the phobians are still entitled to a development fee for the transfer of the player.

Consequently, BK Hacken, in an email to Hearts of Oak Chairman Togbe Afede on 13th November, 2017, offered to pay $25,000 dollars to the Phobians as development fee. But eight days later, Togbe has yet to respond to the email.

The player has now taken to the media to express his frustration at the situation.

“I want to plead with the Hearts management to accept the offer to allow me to go because I have done my part,” he told Nhyira FM.

“I had told them that if it wasn’t for an offer from Europe, I would continue playing for them [Hearts]. Please, they should respond to the agent’s email and allow me to travel.

“That’s the only source I use to feed my family. The agent is threatening to cancel the contract if it delays unnecessarily. The offer is for a four-year contract,” he concluded.

Accra Hearts of Oak could find themselves in deep trouble after allowing the contracts of key players to run out at the end of the just ended season.

Captains Thomas Abbey and Robin Gnagne, right back Fatawu Mohammed, Kwame Kizito, Paul Acquah, Vincent Atinga and Leonard Tawiah are all out of contract.
