Actor, James Gardiner has said that some actor and actresses in the English speaking movie industry shy away from Kumawood movies because they think the public will say they are poor.
According to him, although Ghallywood actors and actresses do not see less of the Kumawood industry, some are of the view that moving from the English speaking to the local movie industry will mean they are broke and are desperate for survival.
“some of our colleagues feel that if they shoot Kumawood movies, it looks like they are becoming poor and they have stooped so low to shoot such movies.” He quickly added that “if you say something like that then you mean the Kumawood actors don’t have a class”.
He made this known while in an interview with ZionFelix on the ‘Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix show.
He indicated that he has always wished for a role in a Kumawood movie adding that he will jump onto any Kumawood movie of he is approached with a good script.
