Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams has challenged Hearts of Oak defender Vincent Atingah to a $500 one-on-one football match.
The striker seems to have been angered by Vincent Atingah’s claims on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM that he[Saddick] was no match for him[[Vincent], and he is ready to prove that in a one on one challenge.
Adams has accepted the challenge, stating that he will place a cash of $500 as a bet for the giant Hearts defender to face him in a one-on-one game.
“If truly he [Vincent] said that I throw him challenge now to face me one on one,” Adams wrote on Facebook as their rivalry continues.
“Defender and a striker on the field…And if he intercepts even a single ball from me I will give him $500.
The pair have faced each other twice this season already and things got a bit frosty in the President Cup when it appeared Atingah had deliberately stepped on the shin of Saddick.
It took the intervention of team mates from both sides to separate the pair.
They again met in the recently played Super Clash where Atingah seems to have gotten the better of Saddick on many occasion in the game.
