Thomas Abbey hijacked the media traffic in Ghana with some outstanding display across the season to pull the Phobians within touching distance of the league summit. The inspirational skipper however pinned down his success to the exploit of Mahatma Osman Otoo, who earned legendary status whiles playing for the Oak family.
In an exclusive interview with Thormas Abbey on his personal source of motivation in the season so far, Abbey cited his predecessor in Mahatma Osman Otoo.
“My main source of motivation has been Mahatma Otoo. I want to emulate his feat as a player and that has been my story line as a player. Hopefully I will follow his feat of even better it”, Abbey revealed.
Thormas Abbey has been the undoubted source of inspiration for the capital based side with 12 odd goals from midfield position. He has since clocked several individual honours in the current season and will surely be gunning for the player of the year gong.
