Ghana defender, Lawrence Lartey, has confirmed to Ghanacrusader.com that he has terminated his contract with Tunisian side Club Africain.

News broke on Wednesday that the former Black Satellite captain’s contract has been terminated by the Tunisian side after joining the club three weeks ago.
According to reports, Lartey’s contract was terminated following the return of the club’s top defenders Chenihi & Barnes.

Another report also stressed that the Ghanaian contracted was terminated after he held crunch talks with head coach of the team regarding the delay in payment of his agreed signing on fees.

But in confirming the news, Lartey was adamant to reveal the reason behind his departure.
“Yes, it’s true. I have terminated my contract with Club Africain and that is what I can say for now”, Lartey told ghanacrusader.com
