Kotoko striker Sadick Adams has said the Porcupine Warriors will recover from their shock to end the season in a remarkable style.

The record 23 times Ghana Premier League champions have been exempted for some time in the Ghana Premier League after the team was involved in an accident on the Nkawkaw Highway on their way from Accra a fortnight ago.

Steve Pollack’s side are yet to play any match since they last played Inter-Allies at the El WAK Stadium where they lost by a goal to nothing.

Saddick Adams believes the Red and White boys will overcome the distress the team has gone through and bounce back to action in a fascinating style.

“It has not been easy for us, it has been a difficult moment, most of my teammates our injured and we are all trying to recover fully,” Adams told Ghanapremierleaguelive.com in an interview

“We want to be fully fit before we get back to action, but I want to assure our fans that they shouldn’t leave hope.

He continued “We are going to return as a better team, this has even strengthened us and we want to finish the League very well.”

Kotoko had their League matches against Hearts of Oak and WAFA postponed and will not honor their MTN Fa Cup quarter final game this weekend as well. But the PLB on Tuesday, 25th July issued a statement on the break of the league for a month.

During this break period, all outstanding games are to be cleared which includes Asante Kotoko’s game against arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium. Game has been scheduled for 6th August.

Sadick Adams is currently in Prapram training with the Black Stars ‘B’ team preparing for their upcoming CHAN qualifier match with Burkina Faso.
