Wolves defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh will miss the start of the English Championship season due to an unspecified injury, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
The 23-year-old has not been involved in the side’s pre-season programme since he joined from German second tier club Eintracht Braunschweig.
The right-back arrived at the English side with an unspecified injury and still some way off a comeback.
GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that he will miss the start of the new season and could be out for a further four weeks.
The Ghanaian will miss games against Middlesbrough, Derby County, Hull City and Cardiff City as well as the League Cup first round game at Yeovil Town.
The news is a massive blow to manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who has been keen to get the defender in top shape ahead of his debut campaign in England.
