Black Stars first choice goalkeeper Richard Ofori has joined South African top flight side Maritzburg United.
Prior to his move, the 23-year-old had spent his entire career with Ghana Premier League side Wa All Stars.
Ofori was often an unused back up during the tenure of Avram Grant as Black Stars head coach but has seen his stock rise since the appointment of Kwesi Appiah and has already started three matches.
He turned down CAF Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns over concerns regarding regular playing time to sign a three year deal with Maritzburg.
He has been added by Head Coach Fadlu David to the squad ahead of the new season.
