The Public Relations Officer of Berekum Chelsea, Mr Isaac Amponsah, has stated that his team made no mistake in letting former coach Steve Pollack join Asante Kotoko.
Steve Pollack joined the porcupine warriors just before the commencement of the 2nd round of the Ghana premier league, he played his first match against Tema Youth at the Tema park of which Kotoko won by a goal to nil.
Berekum Chelsea has been struggling to win matches after the exit of coach Steve Pollack having won just two matches (Aduana and WAFA) out of eight matches with two draws and four losses in the ongoing Premier League.
“The players, management and technical team are all doing their best, it Is just unfortunate things are going the way it is but we hope to bounce back to winning ways ,i don’t want to believe Polack’s exit is the reason we are loosing, no,” he said.
Berekum Chelsea is currently at the 10th position with 30 points, 4 points away from the drop zone.
