After failing to defend the league title this season, Wa All Stars skipper Hafiz Adams has set his eyes on the MTN FA Cup trophy to appease fans.
The Northern Blues won their first ever league title last season but have missed out of the race for the ultimate this term looking at their current position on the league log.
However, that disappointment only means he and his teammates have to go extra mile to clinch the MTN FA Cup 2017 and to win the competition for the first time.
“All our target for the season is to make sure we win the FA Cup because looking at our position on the league table, we can’t defend it,” he told Time FM in Obuasi.
“However, we have nothing to show to our fans this season than to win the FA Cup to appease them.”
The defending league champions have reached the quarter finals of the cup competition and will know their next opponents on Tuesday.
