Akpeteshie is an alcoholic spirit produced in Ghana by distilling palm or sugar juice.
Other names for this drink include apio, Ogogoro, VC10 as well as numerous other less than flattering names.
Many people might have wondered how the locally distilled alcohol, popularly referred to as “Akpeteshie” is prepared to be sold on the Ghanaian market.
